DRIVEN BY PURPOSE
Youth Development Programming Through Basketball
BeFundamental LLC bridges the gap between elite performance and personal growth for our athletes. Our mission is to transform student-athletes into well-rounded individuals by weaving Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) into the very fabric of our technical training. We believe that true mastery on the court begins with a foundation of character, purpose, and self-awareness.
We go beyond the hardwood with classroom-based mentorship and leadership sessions, ensuring that every workshop translates into real-world resilience, empowering the next generation of lifelong leaders.

Meet The Founder
BeFundamental LLC was founded by Bruce Moore Jr., a passionate and dedicated educator, coach, and former Division 1 college athlete committed to helping young players build strong fundamentals on the court and in life.
Coach Bruce is a former middle school teacher at McDonogh School and currently serves as a Boys' Varsity Basketball Coach, bringing energy, structure, accountability, and mentorship to every athlete he works with.
As a former three-year starter and captain, All-Defensive Patriot League player, and two-time Patriot League Champion for the Bucknell Bison Men's Basketball Team, Coach Bruce combines high-level basketball experience and knowledge with a passion for growth.
"My love for the game of basketball stems from my love for growth, competition, and the mentoring of student-athletes. The game of Basketball has allowed me to be a first-generation college student and graduate, travel the world, and meet extraordinary people. More importantly, basketball has taught me many life lessons (SEL); lessons that I have carried with me since I started playing at age 13. It forced me to learn more about myself, my relationships, and the world around me. Basketball and the people associated have given me so much; the least I can do is help the next generation." - Coach Bruce Moore Jr
